“…Peterson and Schenker (2018) stated that entrepreneurship is situated in the context of society and, consequently, it is social, whereas from a normative point of view, the nature of entrepreneurship is not always social. Similarly, Bjärsholm et al (2018) highlighted that the pursuit of the social good must be governed by a normative perspective – based on ideology and ethics – considering that it may vary between different sectors of society.…”

“…For Bjärsholm (2017), the scope of research on sport and social entrepreneurship is limited, and sport plays a minor role in the articles. Currently, this issue is being granted greater relevance, although more development and description of sport are necessary (Bjärsholm et al , 2018; Bjärsholm, 2019; Capella et al , 2016; González-Serrano et al , 2020b; Miragaia et al ., 2015, 2017, 2019; Pérez et al , 2018; Peterson and Schenker, 2018; Sánchez-Oliver et al , 2017). According to Cohen and Peachey (2015), three specific antecedents influence the social inclinations of entrepreneurs for social entrepreneurship – sport, life and traumatic experiences – an aspect corroborated by González-Serrano et al (2020b), who indicates that sports entrepreneurs are proliferating in recent years, that put the quality of life and corporate social responsibility before economic benefits.…”

“…Furthermore, the hybridity of the workforce provides another point of contention with many organisations relying on the good will of volunteers as a strategy to cut costs and maximising profits to reinvest in the organisation (Spear et al, 2018). Thus, relying on a volunteer workforce to conduct evaluation is not only unprofessional, but also arguably, an ethical issue if volunteers are not trained to deliver such practice (Bjarsholm et al, 2018). Irrespective, it cannot be ignored that becoming a specific model of social enterprise may indeed be a strategy of necessity, rather than an outcome of desire moving forward.…”

“…Interviews (conduct, analysis, reporting) were performed by established ethical guidelines in social sciences i.e. acceptance of subjects" right anonymity, confidentiality, and informed consent (Bjarsholm, et al 2018;Bryman, 2012). The consent of participants was taken by sharing the research questions well before the interview.…”
