Etiology of hypercholesterolemia in patients with anorexia nervosa

Abstract: Serum levels of cholesterol, CETP, and apolipoproteins decreased after weight gain, indicating that cholesterol metabolism is accelerated in patients with AN with normal serum levels of FFA.
