Along a similar vein, "Sportul pentru viaţă" ("Sport for Life") was a program developed by the Romanian Athletics Federation (2006)(2007)(2008) to inform and educate the public about the important role of physical activity in fighting against the effects of a sedentary lifestyle, while failing to highlight the hedonistic value of physical activity (Roman Athletics Federation, 2006-2008.
