AMIK Mahaputra is one of the private computer colleges in the city of Pekanbaru. In increasing its resources, this university conducts performance appraisals of lecturers and employees. This performance assessment will form the basis of promotion. At present, the system in assessing its performance still has weaknesses, namely by improper lecturers or employees who occupy certain positions and positions. The purpose of this study is to later be able to make it easier to give a decision on the performance evaluation of lecturers and employees each year as part of the process of career development and promotion. The data obtained include the assessment of lecturers by students, the discipline of lecturers on giving lectures, the allocation of time by each lecturer and the method used is TOPSIS where this method is considered suitable for this research. and AMIK employees Mahaputra pekanbaru. Decision support system for evaluating the performance of lecturers and employees in promotion. Although the decision taken has been 74% but it has been recommended to assist the management of AMIK Mahaputra in making decisions.

<em>Indeks Kinerja Dosen merupakan hasil penilaian kinerja dosen selama satu semester, melalui Evaluasi Kinerja Dosen pada setiap akhir semester. Evaluasi Kinerja Dosen dilaksanakan guna meningkatkan kualitas pelaksanaan tridarma pada suatu perguruan tinggi. Pada Universitas Dayanu Ikhsanuddin (Unidayan) khususnya di Fakultas Teknik, pengolahan data nilai Indeks Kinerja Dosen masih dilakukan dengan menggunakan aplikasi Microsoft Excel, dimana memungkinkan terjadinya kesalahan kurang akuratnya data disebabkan faktor human error dan dinilai kurang efektif dan efisien. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah membangun suatu sistem informasi yang dapat memudahkan pihak tim penilai kinerja dosen dalam mengolah dan memonitoring proses penilaian kinerja dosen khususnya di Fakultas Teknik Unidayan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan metode sistem berbasis aturan dan metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu melalui pengamatan, wawancara, metode pustaka dan metode browsing. Penelitian ini menghasilkan sebuah sistem informasi yang dapat mempermudah proses pengolahan data Indeks Kinerja Dosen Fakultas Teknik Unidayan.</em>

Higher Education is an educational institution that plays a role in producing quality human resources. The roles, duties and responsibilities of lecturers are very important in educating the nation's life and national goals. There are many problems that cause the performance of lecturers at universities in Indonesia. Meanwhile, lecturers are required to give good performance. In this case, the researcher is interested in evaluating the performance of lecturers using the promethee method. The promethee method is able to produce decisions based on comparisons between alternatives according to the preference function and the different weights of each criterion. The criteria used in the assessment of lecturer performance are 10 criteria with 7 alternative lecturers. The Promethee method produces recommendations for lecturers with the best performance, namely Lecturer E who has a net flow value of 0.12153. While the lecturer with the lowest performance assessment is Lecturer B with a net flow value of -0.19167. The results of the decisions given by the promethee method can help provide an assessment of the lecturer's performance from the several alternatives given. So as to be able to produce an objective recommendation decision
