Mustafa Abdul Kareem Hameed
Abstract:Levofloxacin 500 mg/kg/day was given to ten lactating female rats. The results showed an increase in serum levels of transferases [ALT and AST] but a decrease in juvenile total protein and albumin. The histopathological analysis also revealed a decreased thickness with chondrocyte loss and shrunken chondrocytes with pyknotic nuclei.
