Abstract:Epilepsy, a prevalent neurological disorder, affects one-third of individuals with seizures resistant to standard antiepileptic drugs. Cannabis sativa, a plant that is reportedly used for seizure treatment, contains non-psychoactive cannabidiol (CBD) and psychoactive Δ9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC).
