“…According to a report by Atwood and Paisley-Jones (2017), the United States spends about 16-18% of total global pesticide spending (Nyirenda et al, 2011;Abong'o et al, 2014;Schreinemachers et al, 2015;Herrero-Hernández et al, 2017;Menchen et al, 2017;Sharma et al, 2019).
