Evaluation Method on Geological Deposit Potential Value

Abstract: It is related to the realization of the benefit of state-owned resources and the long retainable development of the country to evaluate the mining property rights to improve the using rate of the mineral resources. Guided by the principle of prospective return, a method for evaluating geological potential value was put forward which emphasized on the valuation of geological techniques. A coefficient was done to represent the geological potential value which was constructed by integrating the seven factors of G… Show more

“…Mineral resource estimation holds significant practical importance in mineral investigation, as emphasized by previous studies (Zhang & Huang, 2010;Kuzvart & Böhmer, 1986;Hung et al, 2020;Hung and Dung, 2021;Hung and Cong, 2021;Hung and Tri, 2021;Khang and Hung, 2022). It provides a scientific and practical foundation for organizing geological survey programs and assessing mineral and investment opportunities.…”

“…Mineral resource estimation is of practical significance in the mineral investigation (Glacken and Snowden, 2001;Zhang and Huang, 2010;Revuelta, 2018;Kužvart and Böhmer, 1986;Hung et al, 2020). This provides a scientific and practical foundation for organizing geological survey programs and assessing mineral and investment opportunities.…”

“…Many geological and statistical approaches for estimating mineral resources have been developed recently. Among them, the similarity-analogy in ore geology and mineral resource estimation based on statistical methods have been widely used to investigate mineral resources (Byryukov, 1962;Zhang and Huang, 2010;Awadh and Abdulla, 2017;Al-Malabeh et al, 2017;Revuelta, 2018;Hung et al, 2020;Awad and Awadh, 2020). Different estimation methods have been used for different scenarios depending upon the ore boundaries, geological geometry, grade variability, the amount of time, and money availability.…”

“…Mineral resource estimation is a practical significance in the mineral investigation (Glacken & Snowden, 2001;Hung et al, 2016;Zhang & Huang, 2010;Revuelta, 2018;Kužvart & Böhmer, 1986). This provides a scientific and practical basis for establishing geological survey programs as well as evaluating the prospects of minerals and investment.…”

“…Currently, many geological and math-geological methods have proposed to estimate mineral resources. Among them, the similarity-analogy in ore geology, direct calculation method for metallization parameters, and mineral resource estimation based on cutoff grade change methods have been widely used to investigate mineral resources (Lasky (1950;Byryukov, 1962;Kogan, 1971, Snowden, 2001Hung et al, 2016;Zhang & Huang, 2010;Revuelta, 2018). Different estimation methods have been used for different scenarios depending upon the ore boundaries, geological geometry, grade variability, the amount of time, and money available.…”
