Evaluation Model of Adaptive Teaching Ability of College Art Teachers

Abstract: The existing evaluation models for the teaching ability of college art teachers are unadaptable, unsystematic and incomplete. To solve these problems, this paper puts forward a novel model to evaluate the adaptive teaching ability of college art teachers. Firstly, the teaching demand of college art teachers was analyzed in the knowledge age, highlighting the necessity to evaluate the adaptive teaching ability of college art teachers. Next, an evaluation system was established for the adaptive teaching ability … Show more

“…In this paper, all the network training and testing were done by TensorFlow framework [ 9 , 23 ], with an initial learning rate of 0.001 and 10 times reduction every 10 rounds, with a decay rate of weight and a momentum of 0.9. In this paper, 1200 works were expanded to 2400 works by horizontal mapping changes, after which all the works were randomly divided into 5 groups of 480 sketches each; a 5-fold cross-validation method [ 16 , 24 ] was used, in which 4 groups were training samples and 1 group was testing sample, and the mean value was the final result of the model after using random gradient descent method.…”

“…The current commonly used computer-assisted instruction (CAI) makes comprehensive use of multimedia, hypertext, artificial intelligence, network communication, knowledge base, and other computer technologies to overcome the shortcomings of traditional art teaching in a single, one-sided teaching context [ 9 , 22 , 23 ]. It can effectively shorten the learning time of art education, improve the quality and efficiency of teaching, and achieve the most optimal teaching objectives.…”

“…The teaching ability of college teachers runs through the entire teaching cycle and all aspects of school development, and it is the lifeline of higher education [6][7][8][9][10]. In the context of ever-increasing student enrollment and expanding school scale, the evaluation system of college teachers' teaching ability should be updated accordingly and continuously [11][12][13][14]. The fast advancement of data science, Internet, and information technology has brought novel teaching modes such as Smart Teaching and Internet+ Education, and some of them have been already applied in colleges and universities [15][16][17][18][19].…”
