“…To the question asked about the prevalence of asthma in adults in Turkey, 32.0% of the physicians answered 7%-8% and 7.5% gave the answer of 15%-20%. When we look at other studies, we see that similar results are obtained (5). The low percentage of correct answers given by physicians to this question, we attribute due to regional differences in the prevalence rate and the possibility that its emphasis in adults may be overlooked.…”
