Evaluation of Bone Repair After Periapical Surgeries Using Leukocyte Platelet-Rich Fibrin (L-PRF) and Blood Clot: A Double-Blind Clinical Trial

Abstract: This study evaluated the effectiveness of the use of an autologous membrane of fibrin rich in platelets and leukocytes (LPRF) and blood clot, in bone repair after periapical surgery, in teeth with apical lesions. Methodology: Randomized clinical study of 64 teeth with periapical lesions submitted to apicectomy and retrograde filling with mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA).
