Abstract: Candida albicans biofilms complicate the treatment of infected implanted intravascular devices because of decreased antifungal susceptibility. Our study examined MIC in a large number of clinical isolates, and this may be in part explained by differences in CASPO activity between Candida strains and species (4,40).
