Evaluation of Earthquake Response Spectra Directionality Using Stochastic Simulations

Abstract: For earthquake-resistant design purposes, ground-motion intensity is usually characterized using response spectra. The amplitude of response spectral ordinates of horizontal components varies significantly with changes in orientation.
