Evaluation of Effective Nucleon-Nucleon Potential and Description of α-Cluster Type Nuclei in Restricted Dynamics Approach

Abstract: The application of the Restricted Dynamics Approach in nuclear theory, based on the approximate solution of many-particle Schrödinger equation, which accounts for all conservation laws in many-nucleon system, is discussed. The Strictly Restricted Dynamics Model is used for the evaluation of binding energies, level schemes, E2 and M1 transition probabilities as well as the electric quadrupole and magnetic dipole momenta of light α-cluster type nuclei in the region 4 ≤ A ≤ 40. The parameters of effective nucleon… Show more

“…The quantum number isomers of SU 3 states provide us with the possibility of enlarging the number of low-energy levels, which can be described in the framework of the simplest SRDM version (see, e.g., [12]), in which both the higher-lying SU 3 states (N 1 , N 2 , N 3 ) and the Young patterns [f ] with lesser symmetry are not taken into account. Two examples of QNI, α-cluster-type nuclei 28 Si and 60 Zn, have been studied in detail in the framework of SRDM.…”

“…Two examples of QNI, α-cluster-type nuclei 28 Si and 60 Zn, have been studied in detail in the framework of SRDM. In these calculations we have followed, in general, the method of α-cluster-type nuclei description, outlined in our paper [12]. The SRDM Hamiltonian, used in these calculations, has the following structure:…”
