Abstract:Objective: Acute-on-chronic liver failure (ACLF) is a complication of cirrhosis associated with high short-term mortality. The risk of mortality in ACLF increases with the occurrence of acute kidney injury (AKI). Hence, early detection of AKI is critical in ACLF.
