“…In the meta-analysis of “all bacteria” with reference test 1 (16 studies/6183 patients), 10 , 17 , 18 , 19 , 20 , 21 , 22 , 24 , 25 , 26 , 27 , 29 , 30 , 31 , 32 , 33 we obtained combined sensitivity and specificity of 89·5% (95%CI 81·1–94·4), and 97·4% (95%CI 94–98·9), respectively.
