Abstract:This study aimed to assess the health status of Carassius gibelio, a comparatively tolerant fish species, in the largest coastal lagoon in Europe – the Curonian Lagoon. Haematocrit and glucose levels were evaluated as reliable biomarkers of stress responses in fish.
