Peak 18 (F3) was a large peak and appered to be a mixture of those designated in the table and the following two types of compounds, which have also been isolated by Artman and Smith 3' A cyclohexyl compound having C3-ester and C9:1-hydrocarbon side chains with M=294 (2% intensity in the mass pattern obtained in the present study) and mje 279 (1) and 253 (1) indicating M-15 and M-31, respectively; and an 1,4-epoxy compound having C,H13 and C$ester side chains with M=310 (1), which has been shown to elute at a temperature close to that of the former compound'".
