Abstract:Introduction: Squamous cell carcinoma of the oral cavity is the most common malignancy noted globally.Pathogenesis of premalignant and malignant oral lesions is mainly attributed to the alteration in the molecular mechanisms that regulate apoptosis and cell proliferation.
