Purpose The purpose of this study is to investigate the antecedents of behavioral intention to use (BIU) mobile payment in Indonesia by extending unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT) with user privacy constructs, namely, perceived security (PS), perceived risk (PR) and trust (Tr). Design/methodology/approach This is a quantitative research using the covariance-based structural equation modeling method, whereby the researchers conducted an online survey and distributed online questionnaires to users of mobile payment from all over Indonesia to obtain the data. The sample in this study consisted of 358 respondents. Findings This study found that social influence, facilitating conditions, PS, performance expectancy and Tr have a significant and direct influence on BIU mobile payment. PR was not found to have a significant and direct relationship with BIU, but it was indirectly affecting the latter through Tr as the mediating variable. Originality/value The researchers modified UTAUT by incorporating PS, PR and Tr to create a more comprehensive model in predicting mobile payment adoption, especially considering the risky nature of digital transactions in emerging economies like Indonesia. This extended model has never been thoroughly explored in previous studies.

Implementation of Academic Information System (AIS) at the Radya Binatama Communication Academy (AKRB) had some problems for some users. That problems are known from interviews with several AIS users. This caused a delay in data exchange with other divisions. This study aims to assess the implementation of AIS to the AKRB by using the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) method. UTAUT has four main constructs that affect user acceptance namely performance expectations, effort expectations, social influences, and facilitating conditions. The data were obtained from distributing questionnaires to all AIS users as many as 40 respondents. Then the data is processed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) techniques with the help of SmartPLS. The results of the analysis show that only construct facilitating conditions is valid with a t-statistic value of 2.733. While the other three constructs have values that are in the range of invalid values between -1.96 to 1.96 with the values of each construct being 1.891, 0.050, 1.440. It can be concluded that the application of SIA in AKRB has not been well received by all AIS users. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct an evaluation that represents the other three constructs.

Teknologi informasi juga mampu melakukan efisiensi di berbagai bidang, terutama bidang pendidikan. Sekolah adalah suatu aktifitas besar yang di dalamnya ada empat komponen yang saling berkaitan yaitu staf tata usaha, staf teknisi pendidikan, komite, dan peserta didik. Selama ini sistem informasi administrasi keuangan di MTs Nurul Yaqin masih menggunakan format penulisan manual. Sehingga timbul permasalahan dalam hal keefektifan dan efisiensi pengolahan data menjadi informasi dalam proses manajemen sekolah. Untuk itu dibutuhkan suatu sistem yang lebih baik dan mampu mengatasi permasalahan karena hal tersebut maka solusinya dibangun aplikasi sistem Informasi ini yang dirancang dengan metode UML dan penelitian dengan metode Waterfall.Terbukti aplikasi ini mampu memudahkan petugas administrator yang ada sehingga pengolahan administrasi keuangan lebih maksimal.
