Abstract:Coordinated Multipoint (CoMP) was adapted as a key technique to improve the coverage of high data rates and the cell-edge user experience in beyond LTE-Advanced systems. CoMP simultaneously supports multiple Transmission Points (TPs) to serve mobile devices in the high interference areas, which occur between cells. In theory it can provide significant gains in the order of high double-digit percentages for cell-edge user throughput while increasing overall network efficiency. The aim of this paper is to get an… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
