Kata kunci -kapasitas kanal, MIMO, SOFDMA, AMC, AMS Abstract -Channel capacity is important parameter of wireless communication system. Communication system should provide the high channel capacity. System with Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) antenna can provide high channel capacity. In this research, MIMO system performance is observed using Scalable Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (SOFDMA) implementation. The Adaptive Modulation and Coding (AMC) and Adaptive MIMO Switching (AMS) techniques are also implemented. The number of subcarrier on SOFDMA are 128 and 2048. The observed performance is channel capacity with various user velocities. The user velocity variation are 0 km/hr and 120 km/hr. The channel capacity of the system with AMC and AMS combination is up to 419.5115 Mbps when user velocity is 0 km/hr. When user velocity is 120 km/hr, channel capacity of the system is up to 23.9820 Mbps.
