Evaluation of New Properties of Calcined Magnetite Doped with Zinc and Lanthanum Nanoparticles Prepared in Oxygen and Nitrogen Atmospheres

Abstract: The aim of the present research is the preparation of magnetite nanoparticles doped with Zn and La of the general formula ZnLa(x)Fe(3-x)O4 where x =0.0, 0.1, 0.15, 0.2, 0.25 and 0.3; which were prepared via co-precipitation method, separated and calcined at 800oC under oxygen and nitrogen atmospheres. The stoichiometric ratios of the elements in the given general formula had been proved and confirmed by elemental analyses using XRF.
