Evaluation of occupational safety and health at construction site in state of Perlis

Abstract: This current study evaluates occupational safety and health (OSH) practices for 35 medium-and high-grade contractors in the state of Perlis by using structured questionnaires and interviews. Among the 70% of valid participants, majority (Scale Interval Index = 4.16) agreed that “failure to comply with OSH Act” is the main challenge to safety.
