Evaluation of Online Learning for the Public Ethics Training Course for CPNS Batch I Tanjung Jabung Barat Regency 2020

Introduction/Main Objectives: This study aims to find, examine, and describe the implementation of the blended learning pattern of basic training for prospective civil servants from the aspects of communication, resources, and infrastructure, as well as find factors that become obstacles and supports in the implementation of basic training for prospective civil servants. (CPNS) Blended Learning pattern in Kerinci District in. Research Methods: Using qualitative methods, analyzing the activities of implementing the Basic Civil Servant Training in Kerinci Regency. Data mining is sourced from primary data and secondary data. Primary data in words, attitudes, or actions were obtained through interviews and direct and indirect observations from the primary source, the organizing team, widyaiswara, and Latsar participants. Secondary data is obtained through documents, previous studies, books, meeting agendas, and those related to the problem being researched. Results: The results showed that implementing blended learning for CPNS basic training in the Kerinci district was running effectively. Communication and coordination in implementing the CPNS latsar in the Kerinci Regency are good. Existing human resources (organizers, teaching staff, and participants) can carry out their respective duties properly. Facilities and infrastructure to support the smooth running of CPNS latsar activities, both when distance learning and classical learning, are exemplary. The output in the Latsar CPNS Kerinci Regency activity, all participants (109 people) successfully passed. There were obstacles to implementation, namely the uneven distribution of the internet network, so distance learning activities were less effective. Meanwhile, supporters of the smooth implementation of the Kerinci CPNS latsar include budget support, competent teaching staff (WI), and excellent cooperation.

Productivity of Online Learning Media in Education Management

Introduction/Main Objectives The productivity of online learning media for the implementation of learning has increased intensely since the implementation of the corona lockdown. This presents a challenge to improve learning by developing media so that students have more time to study independently during the lockdown period.: Background Problems Researchers compared the productivity of various learning media such as text, video, and video-text combinations.: Novelty: Statistical analysis using Mann Whitney showed that there were significant differences in knowledge retention between the text and video groups as well as between the video and text-video combination groups. Research Methods: This study was conducted using a quasi-experimental post-test method by comparing participants' retention before the intervention. Finding/Results: The study involved 60 participants who were randomly divided into 3 groups, text (guidebook), audiovisual (video), and text-video combination. Video and text prepared by Widyaiswara. The results showed that the average scores were 35.1 (text group), 58.1 (video group), and 85.2 (text-video combination group). Conclusion: use of multimedia can increase knowledge retention in the absorption of the material.

One of the program activities of BPSDM Jambi Province which is carried out every year is a training program for retired personnel, the aim is to prepare a number of alternative activities for officials who will enter retirement. This research is about the implementation process of retired entrepreneurial training. This research is a qualitative descriptive study, the informants in this study were the Head of the Jambi Province Human Resources Development Agency, the Head of the Core Technical Competency Development Division, the Heads of Sub-Heads and the organizing committee. Data obtained through interviews and activity report books and observations. The data analysis method is to use the data triungulation method, namely by making comparisons and discussions between the data obtained in the field. This research resulted that the implementation of entrepreneurial training Pra Purnabakti at BPSDM Jambi Province has been going well and quite systematically. The implementation process is divided into two parts, namely the planning process and the implementation process. This training planning activity is divided into two parts of planning, namely program planning and implementation planning. Program planning consists of analyzing the needs of prospective participants of the Retired Entrepreneurship Training and compiling a module for the Retired Entrepreneurship Training program. Meanwhile, the planning for the implementation consists of determining the partners for the implementation of the training, the setting of the place and the time of the implementation. For more success in the implementation of the training, it is hoped that the BPSDM will budget an adequate budget, due to the implementation of activities in the field.
