Evaluation of Orthodontic Patients’ Anxiety Levels During the COVID-19 Pandemic: A 1-Year Follow-Up

Abstract: Main Points• The state anxiety levels of orthodontic patients decreased during the follow-up, while there was no significant change in their trait anxiety levels.• The decrease in state anxiety scores was more pronounced in women and in individuals aged under 18 years. • In the follow-up, gender-based difference in anxiety scores disappeared.
