Abstract:INTRODUCTIONNeuraxial analgesia includes spinal, epidural, and combined spinal-epidural analgesia. Epidural analgesia refers to local anesthetics and adjuvant injected into the epidural space. Spinal anesthesia refers to local anesthetic, with or without adjuvant, injected into the subarachnoid space.
