Evaluation of Some Organic Pollutants Transport into the Shallow Groundwater and Surface Water of Jiaxing Landfill Area

Abstract: Problem statement: Hangjiahu regions belong to the Yangtze River Delta region in Zhejiang Province in China. The vast majority of this region is flat, so surface and groundwater both have a low flow rate. With the rapid economic development of the area, a large number of industrial and domestic garbage are generated. These landfill or garbage are exposed and stacked. Because of mismanagement of environment, the atmosphere under the leaching rainfall, results in harmful gases and leachate. A serious pollution o… Show more

“…In other words, the structural model gives the better fit for modeling of the F0 contour of the expressive speech than that of the Fujisaki's model. “…Relatively primitive technologies are employed to harvest reusable components while useless parts are mainly disposed of in landfills . In recent years, local Chinese government agencies have regulated to stop waste landfill to prevent migration of pollutants from the waste to groundwater and soil. , However, without effective methods to dispose of nonrecyclable components, waste collectors in rural areas have resorted to burning the refuse in their own backyards. Crude methods of incineration are well-known to generate harmful air pollutants that not only contaminate the environment but also pose significant health hazards, most especially to the waste collectors. , …”

“…Today, Geographical Information Systems (GIS) are used at several planning applications including land use planning (Eldarndaly, 2009), health care planning, environmental planning (Saberioon et al, 2010), forest planning (Hasmadi et al, 2010) landscape planning (Elhadi et al, 2009;Andrea, 2010;Saberioon et al, 2010;Jusoff, 2010;Solaimani et al, 2009;Jalloh et al, 2009) and water planning ( Tung et al, 2009;Maio et al, 2010;Keita et al, 2009). Retail planning is considered as one of the planning fields that could benefit from using this novel technology.…”
