Evaluation of the Degree of Environmental Hazard From Environmental Pollution in the Area of Poultry Farms Impact

Abstract: This article identifies the sources of environmental hazard in the area of poultry farms impact. The analysis of the nature and scope of pollution is made. Developmental specifics of poultry farming in Ukraine are considered. The prospects of the utilization of natural sorbents in the composition of bedding in order to mitigate pollution of the environment with ammonia and ammonium compounds are studied. The scope of reduction of environmental hazard as a result of the utilisation of natural dispersive sorbent… Show more

“…The complex of preliminary experimental studies on the deposition in the form of struvite of model solutions and model ion exchange concentrate (Sakalova et al, 2018, Malovanyy et al, 2019 obtained by ion exchange extraction of the ammonium ions from aqueous solutions of natural zeolite and cation exchanger KU with an initial concentration of NH 4 + -N 40 mg/dm 3 installed: 1. The reagent method allows the removal of ammonium and phosphate at the same time, reaching the fraction of adsorbed ions up to 95% and up to 98%, respectively.…”

“…Studies have aimed to apply environmental technologies to obtain nutrients and energy sources from industrial waste, biological objects, and organic pollutants (Kanda et al, 2019). In recent years, there has been a tendency toward reducing the use of phosphate, potash, and nitrogen fertilizers, associated with decreased natural resources required to produce such fertilizers.…”
