Evaluation of the frequency of hiatal hernia in patients undergoing upper gastrointestinal system endoscopy

Abstract: Obesity was identified as an essential and independent risk factor for hiatal hernia. This study focused on the frequency of hiatal hernia detection in patients who underwent upper gastrointestinal system endoscopy in our clinic. The relationship between the frequency of hiatal hernia and demographic data and the patient's height-weight-body mass index was evaluated.
