Teaching and learning materials enhance teaching and learning by providing information, understanding concepts, developing problem-solving skills, encouraging reflective thinking, and being scripted to ensure children's success. Careful planning, monitoring, evaluation, and quality assurance processes like internal and external critical review, ethics, and copyright approval are necessary to ensure the effectiveness of learning materials. The study aimed to assess the quality assurance process of educational materials in Tanzania. The study employed a qualitative research approach, and data were gathered through the literature review. The United Republic of Tanzania's education and training policies, curriculum framework for basic and teacher education, basic, secondary, and teacher education quality assurance framework, and other related materials were consulted as the primary data sources. Content analysis of data was used to come up with a clear interpretation of information and a conclusion of the results. The finding shows that the Tanzania Education Policy talks about quality education and needs to give a straightforward guide on developing quality assurance tools for implementing the policy. The study found that the Tanzania Institute of Education has an excellent and well-organised guideline for the educational materials quality assurance process that can be adopted and included in the policy. The study recommends the inclusion of statements directing the quality assurance of educational materials in the education policy. Also, the study suggests requiring teachers to be included and involve student teachers in quality assurance since they are the critical implementers and users of educational materials.

Purpose: For learning environments like schools and colleges, predicting students' success is one of the most important issues since it aids in the creation of practical systems that, among other things, promote academic achievement and prevent dropout. Theoretical framework: A rigorous analysis and processing of this data might provide us with knowledge about the students' knowledge and how it relates to academic assignments. In this study, classroom management, teacher qualification and in-service training with the effect so mediating variable of teacher quality have been used to measure students’ performance. Design/methodology/approach: 364 respondents have been participated by using questionnaire are data collection methods and the data are analyses by using SMART-PLS. Findings: The findings of the study revealed that the classroom management on students’ performance in-service training, and teacher qualification have significant relationship with teacher quality. The strength and the relationships of the variables might be re-examined by future researchers, including adding more variables from strategic, organizational, and environmental dimensions to determine the accuracy of the model. Research, Practical & Social implications: This study contributes to the existing body of knowledge in understanding the school quality management as this is the first study with the set of such variables. In other words, this study attempts to increase the understanding of the relationship between school quality management strategies on students’ performance. Originality/value: Education authorities should encourage all teachers to develop themselves through regular participation in seminars and conferences organized in their field of expertise in order to update their knowledge and acquire relevant teaching skills to help them impart appropriate knowledge to their students. In addition, the education department should provide schools with basic teaching equipment to make the teaching and learning process easier in schools.

A Bibliometric Analysis of Articles on Realistic Mathematics Education Published Between 2000-2021

Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) is one of the topics that was introduced about fifty years ago and has been studied continuously since then. The purpose of this study is to bibliometrically analyze the articles on the subject ofRME. Using the keyword “realistic mathematics education,” 1056 articles were found related to the subject area of RME, which were scanned in the Scopus database in the “Social Science” publication type between 2000-2021. Retrieved articles were analyzed through the web interface page directed by bibliometrix, the R-Studio program package.With the analysis made, the following sub-titles were found: the number of articles produced by years, the authors and journals that published the most articles on the subject area, the most cited articles on a global basis, the annual average number of citations, the productivity of the authors over time, the citation burst values of the authors, the countries of the responsible authors and collaboration tendencies of these countries in terms of articles, word cloud, word tree map, collaboration network of authors, and joint citation network of journals. The results revealed that researchers’ interest in the subject increased after 2012, and articles on RME were mostly published by three major journals, including Journal on Mathematics Education, Journal of Mathematical Behavior and Educational Studies in Mathematics. In addition, it has been determined that the authors with the most articles on RMEwere Zulkardi Z., Suparman S. and R. I. I. Putri, and the countries that published the most articles were USA, Indonesia and Netherlands. As a result of the relevant results, inferences were made for RME.
