Abstract:BACKGROUND
The fastest-growing neurological disorder globally is Parkinson’s Disease (PD), a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects ten million people worldwide. PD is typically treated with Leva-Dopa: an oral pill taken to increase dopamine levels, and other dopaminergic agonists.
