Abstract:The performance of the classic Peng-Robinson (PR) and the modern Cubic-Plus-Association (CPA) equations of state were evaluated in modeling isobaric and isothermal vapor-liquid equilibria (VLE) of binary mixtures of carboxylic acids (formic, acetic, propanoic or butanoic) + water.
