Evaluation of the plug‐in hybrid electric vehicle considering learning curve on battery and power generation best mix

Abstract: SUMMARYThe plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) is a technology intended to reduce CO 2 emissions in the transport sector. This paper presents scenarios that show how widely used PHEVs will be in the future, how much CO 2 emissions will be reduced by the introduction of PHEVs, and whether there will be serious effects on the power supply system.
