“…Chromium is the most common heavy metal as a groundwater contaminant and it occurs in two oxidation states; Cr 6+ such as chromate and bichromate (CrO 4 2− , HCrO 4 − ) and trivalent chromium (Cr 3+ ). Cr 6+ is more carcinogenic and toxic to humans than Cr 3+ [1]. There needs to remove these toxic metals from water by using proper water treatment techniques.…”
