“…16 Despite parental intolerance of the black discoloration, a wide range of them would still accept SDF application to avoid extensive dental behavioral management such as general anesthesia or sedation. 5,24 Consistent with the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry guidelines, 22 this research found that more than half of the participants agreed that SDF is a good alternative treatment for individuals with behavioral or medical issues, whereas only a few disagreed.
