Evidence for adaptive evolution towards high magnetic sensitivity of potential magnetoreceptor in songbirds

Abstract: Migratory birds possess remarkable accuracy in orientation and navigation, which involves various compass systems including the magnetic compass. Identifying the primary magnetosensor remains a fundamental open question.
