“…Similar behavior was also observed for SrBaMg 2 Fe 12 O 22 and Sr 1.5 Ba 0.5 Mg 2 Fe 12 O 22 at room temperature, BaSrMg 2 Fe 11.48 Mn 0.52 O 22 at 5 K, and for Ba 0.5 Sr 1.5 Zn 2– x Ni x Fe 12 O 22 at 4.2 K Figure b presents the difference in the hysteresis loop behavior at 300 K in the weak magnetic fields range for a Ba 0.5 Sr 1.5 Zn 2 Al 0.08 Fe 11.92 O 22 sample obtained by sol–gel autocombustion; as seen, a triple hysteresis curve is not observed .…”

“…The classical ceramic technology is the most popular method for preparation of complex polycrystalline oxides. A large amount of research effort has been focused on the preparation of single-phase Y-type hexaferrites. In summary, the technique is based on a solid-state reaction of alkaline earth carbonates with metal oxides. The powders are homogenized by ball-milling and, after palletization, are synthesized at a high temperature in the 1100–1200 °C range to obtain single-phase Y-type hexaferrite.…”
