“…SMEs rely heavily on networking during their internationalization activities (Coviello, 2006;Ellis, 2011;Johanson and Vahlne, 2009;Zahra, 2005), due to a range of exposed risks Vahlne, 2003, 2009;Knight and Liesch, 2002) and a variety of new opportunities (Autio et al, 2000;Zahra and Hayton, 2008) such as external resources (Lindstrand et al, 2011) or reducing transaction cost.
