Evolution of Mortality over Time in Patients Receiving Mechanical Ventilation

Abstract: Patient characteristics and ventilation practices have changed over time, and outcomes of mechanically ventilated patients have improved. Clinical trials registered with www.clinicaltrials.gov (NCT01093482).
