Abstract:Elium-based thermoplastic composites are a key material
for future
use in the marine, wind energy, and automotive industries because
of their recyclability and ease of manufacture. To optimize the processing
of the Elium composites to yield optimal structural properties, computational
process modeling can be used to relate processing parameters to residual
stresses and material durability. The key ingredient for reliable
and accurate process modeling is the evolution of physical, thermal,
and mechanical proper… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
