Evolution of sanitary-epidemiological services in Poland in the years 1944-2014

Abstract: This paper presents the history of sanitary-epidemiological services in the context of the health, economic and socio-political situation in Poland in the years 1944-2014, with a critical analysis of legal restraints, efficiency and achievements.
