Evolutionary Game of the Civil-Military Integration With Financial Support

Abstract: How to provide financial support efficiently is becoming an essential way for military enterprises to take the strategy of Civil-Military Integration (CMI) in China. In this paper, we used the evolutionary game theory to build a model for military enterprises to choose the approach of the CMI with financial support. After derivation and simulation of the model, the results showed that the profit and cost from the CMI or the financial support changes could cause the different evolutionary stable states (ESS). S… Show more

“…Classical microeconomics theory did not take ownership to be a relevant performance determinant, albeit in real market conditions the assumption that the internal network is somehow isolated and independent from external, more extensive networks is not plausible. Additionally, with regards to the structure, the stakeholders' relationship in private enterprises is considered a contract relationship among private owners, employees, and other agencies, whereas in state-owned enterprises, a state is the majority shareholder and citizens are minor shareholders [46]. Therefore, structure plasticity and dynamics will differ depending on the ownership, as well as the country's economy, as these functions pertain to the broader networks within which an internal network resides.…”

“…In order to further determine the evolutionary stability strategy of the system, we obtain the Jacobian matrix of the system, and then calculate the determinant and trace to verify the five local equilibrium points. If both and are satisfied at the same time, then the local equilibrium point obtained is the evolutionary stable equilibrium point of the system [36][37]. The verification results of each equilibrium point are shown in Table 3.…”

“…With the development of the internet and artificial intelligence (AI), EGT has been applied in many other fields. For instance, in the economics sphere, the EGT method is usually used to forecast future development trends [31,32]; in the medical field, EGT is used to analyze the voluntary vaccination method [33]; in the energy field, EGT is used to explore the behavioral strategies of private sectors from the perspectives of green energy generators and sellers [34]; in the field of pollution control, EGT is used to analyze the impact of the operational mechanisms of local governments' different expenditure preferences on the production behavior of industrial polluting enterprises, to specify the behavioral characteristics and optimal strategies of local environmental management [35]. In addition, other disciplines have employed the EGT method to address forecasting or management problems [36,37].…”
