Evolutionary mechanism of green technology innovation behavior in the operation period of construction and demolition waste recycling public–private partnership projects

Abstract: This paper aims to disclose the evolutionary mechanism of banks' green credit and construction and demolition waste (CDW) recycling enterprises' green technology innovation behavior during the operation period of CDW recycling public–private partnership projects with absorptive capacity theory. The conclusions are as follows. First, the government subsidy coefficient has a positive effect on the evolution of banks to participate in green credit. Second, absorptive capacity and the level of collaboration have a… Show more

“…The market price per unit of recycled building materials was p r , and the carbon emissions were c r and c m > c r [52]. The carbon tax policy set by the government was introduced to regulate the carbon emissions and the tax per unit of carbon emissions at t. In this situation, the building materials manufacturer and building materials remanufacturer would adopt green innovation behaviors to reduce carbon emissions [53,54], with emission reduction efforts noted as e m and e r , respectively. Based on consumption value theory, consumers exhibited risk-neutral or risk-averse characteristics and purchased traditional products or recycled building materials based on their utility maximization.…”

“…According to existing research, the factors that affect green production can be mainly divided into policy-driven, stakeholder pressure, and internal factor orientation. The policy-driving factors mainly include government subsidies (Xu et al, 2023), government regulation (Li & He, 2024), taxation (Fang et al, 2023), and carbon trade (Yang et al, 2021). The stakeholders who bring pressure on producers mainly include consumers (Li & Lv, 2021), investors (Zhou & Ding, 2023), and the public (Liu et al, 2022).…”
