Abstract:Stellar evolution calculations for population II stars with initial composition Y 0 = 0.25, Z 0 = 10 −3 and the initial stellar mass M 0 = 0.82M were carried out from the main sequence to the white dwarf stage. Twelve AGB and post-AGB evolutionary sequences were computed with different values of the parameter in the Blöcker mass loss rate formula (0.01 ≤ η B ≤ 0.12). Selected models of evolutionary sequences with masses M = 0.536M , 0.530M and 0.526M that experience the loop in the Hertzsprung-Russel diagram d… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
