Ex Vivo Reconstitution of Arterial Endothelium by Embryonic Stem Cell-Derived Endothelial Progenitor Cells in Baboons

Abstract: There is an increasing need for an animal model that can be used to translate basic research into clinical therapy. We documented the differentiation and functional competence of embryonic stem cell (ESC)-derived endothelial cells in baboons.
