Abstract: Exact magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) Riemann solutions are the basis of constructing numerical schemes and benchmarks for verifying the schemes. However, non-strict hyperbolicity and nonconvexity of MHD equations contribute to the appearance of intermediate shocks, causing low efficiency of existing exact solvers and high dependence on iterative initials.
