Examining Supports and Barriers to Breastfeeding through a Socio-Ecological Lens

Abstract: BACKGROUND: Early breastfeeding cessation is a societal concern given the massive benefits associated with breastfeeding for mother and child. More effective interventions are needed to increase breastfeeding duration.
