“…These figures were all above 7.0 thresholds as stipulated by [52]. For the AVE, the values ranged from 0.503 to 0.644, which satisfied the set threshold of 5.0 according to [53]. The structural equation modeling (SEM) was the major statistical analysis of this research, which was aimed at evaluating the hypotheses of the study.…”

“…The included studies on PV adoption show that PV adopters can be characterized as high-income, highly educated, environmentally concerned people. Whereas Zander [79] do not find a relation between income and adoption, the samples in [37,63,78,81] and [80] have higher incomes than the general population. Additionally, the samples of [37,63,78,79,81] are highly educated, and show high environmental awareness [78,80,82].…”

The regression analysis of Jacksohn et al [29] reveals a significant positive effect of income, education and environmental concern on adoption.…”

“…Evaluating the influence of environmental behavior over time, Karytsas et al reveal that it had a consistent effect on installation [81]. Schelly and Letzelter even find that "environmental motivations are slightly more important than economics" for adopters [92]. Oppositely, Zander et al reveal that economic considerations are of higher importance than environmental motivations [54].…”
