Exanthem in children with rotavirus infection

Abstract: Objective and backgroundThe aim of this study was to evaluate the relationship between rotavirus infection and a transient maculo-papular eruption in seven children with acute febrile gastroenteritis.Methods Bacteria and viruses were looked for in stool specimens.Results Rotavirus was detected in all patients by enzyme immunoassay.
